In November 2013 city of Banjarmasin experienced Inflation of 0,62
percent. Of the 66 cities in Indonesia, recorded 38 cities suffered
inflation, while 28 other cities experiencing Deflation. The highest
inflation occurred in the town of Maumere amounting to 1.54 percent and
the lowest inflation occurred in Sibolga of 0.03 percent, while the
highest deflation occurred in the town of Sorong of 1.29 percent and the
deflation of the lowest occurs in towns in Bengkulu by 0.02 percent.
The city of Banjarmasin inflation occurs due to an increase in the price
indicated by the rise in the index in the Group of foodstuffs amounted
to 1.13 percent, food group so rose by 0.06 percent, housing, water,
electricity, gas & amp; fuel rose by 0.75 percent, clothing rose by
0.34 percent, health group went up by 0,29 percent, education, sports
rekreasidan rose by 0.03 percent, transport, communications, and
financial services rose by 0,71%. Ten major commodities that encourages
the occurrence of infalsi is corks fish, household fuel, air transport,
electricity rates, red onion, rice, mackerel/bloat, cigarettes kretek
filters, Moslem clothes, and beef.

banana, papaya, garlic, vegetable oil, orange. According to its
components, items whose price is influenced by Government policy
(administered goods inflation) in General experienced inflation of 1.00
percent, volatile prices (volatile goods inflation) deflation amounted
to 1.04 percent and core components (core inflation) is experiencing
inflation of 0,29 percent. The rate of inflation is the calendar year
(January to November) 2013 amounting 5,68 percent, while "year on year" inflation
rate (November 2013 to November 2012) amounted
to 6,58 per cent.
