February 21, 2025 is National Waste Care Day (HPSN). Through the Initiative of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry based due to the tragedy of the landslide of a meter-high pile of garbage at the Leuwigajah TPA, West Java, which collapsed because of heavy rain overnight. With the theme of Collaboration for a Clean Indonesia which is carried out in various waste management efforts.

Four goals to be achieved for waste management, namely:

1. Strengthening the commitment and active role of local governments in implementing waste management.

2. Strengthening public participation in efforts to achieve zero emissions through the waste sorting movement.

3. Strengthening the commitment and active role of producers and other business actors in implementing green business by making waste a raw material for the economy.

4. Building a waste management value chain in all sectors.
